Making a papercraft Critter
Papercraft! It’s sort of like origami, but with fewer rules. And more glue. It’s making models on the cheap, and it’s pretty cool.
Hey! Adam Walker Studio make papercraft kits and templates! Let’s check ‘em out, and I’ll take you through the process of constructing one of our more popular models, a Critter from Arcade Trap.

Behind The Scenes at AWS: Aldrich on Weight and Movement

In this, the first of a series of interviews with the animators and designers of Adam Walker Studio, I talk to 3D animator Aldrich Tangpos about the importance of animating weight convincingly, the methods, and the trials associated with the procedure.
We discuss the evolution of his animation, from his Shadow of the Colossus-inspired second-year art school project, to the professional work he is involved with at Adam Walker Studio today.

Life, Games & Adam Walker Studio
Often I find myself searching for some kind of meaning - a reason for existence, a purpose to being, some way of understanding the ins and outs of daily life.
Shortly after I begin to undertake this weighty topic, it’s inevitable that I find myself overcome with an intense urge to play video games. Then I think, “If only there were a way I could combine the two; a life lesson with a high score.”

Help me Adam Walker Studio! You’re my only hope!

Greetings, and whatnot
Hi kids, Jordan here. Production assistant at AWF. I enjoy grammar and making lists. And French electro. I have been sitting in Kubrick’s directors chair all week, and I don’t have a desk. Or an icon.
While Aldrich is away, I thought I’d let you know what is going on here at the studio. The animators are busy animating. The boss is busy bossing. And I make the coffee.
Monday will see the launch of Critter Rush (finally) with a bit of an event! Bubbles, red cordial and red jellybeans are on the menu. We will be running another competition as well, more details to come.
While the festive season is nearly upon us, I am yet to see a single decoration around the office. I’ll see if I can’t change that…
Until next time.

Learning from Critter Rush’s How to Play Video
In the near completion of Critter Rush - The Game, Adam decided to make an introduction video on how to play the game due to some of the game’s slightly complex features. So come a little closer and step into the progress of how to create this video
