Inspire your inspirations
Inspiration is the most important thing that drives someone to their particular goal, whether it’s being killed by a shark and surviving(?) or getting up from the couch (very hard to do). Without that inspiration, you’ll drive into a tree… and those trees hurt
So in our spare time here in Adam Walker Film, we go through a variety of mediums to inspire our minds - mediums that range from books, comics, dvds, music, youtube, etc.

Recently Adam brought in a few magazines from overseas that he hoped would inspire our tiny little brains, already corrupted with the abuse of coffee drinking. Anyway, I sat back, took a sip of my coffee and scanned through the magazines
The books I found quite entertaining are called, Mouse Guard, Flight and Robot.
Mouse Guard, is surprisingly very cool, its all presented to be like lord of the rings, except they’re cute little mice. Yeah, I was quite thrilled to see a mouse fight off a giant crab (yes crab), six of them… brings a tear to the eye.
Flight is a collection of different comics that in some clever ways revolve around the book’s title, each one has a distinctive style. I can actually see one of the comics as an animated short ![]()
Finally, Robot is more like those infamous anime type comics with all the blood and guts, amazing character posing and WTF moments. I might also add, I was surprised to find some extreme content in there but of course I won’t mention it here, but you get the picture
((ewh! -Jordan))

The most intriguing comic found in the Robot book was called Dragonfly, it’s Bill Kill all over, one chick with samuari sword, hell-bent on revenge. Of course that won’t be much of a surprise, considering I’m a wannabe ninja by night. It’s probably the fact it tells the story like a film, and in someway I pictured it as one, unfortunately the comics in this book aren’t very long, so my wannabe Bill Kill story was soon over
Remember not to limit your inspiration to one medium, experiment, find other ways to expand your mind, for me I also find music a huge source of inspiration, the kind that gives you goosebumps when you listen to it ((so, what? britney for you, maybe? -Jordan)). Most of my older projects were made just from the music, but thats me
