Enter the internet Interactions

So here we are, ever closer to finishing off the Critter Flash Game. It’s always a good feeling knowing a project is soon to be finished, makes me feel warm and fizzy in the inside… not really. Anyway, Adam has come up with a cool idea for the new AWF website. Before I get all detailed on you I should let you know that the new website with be fully interactive, yes, very fully interactive. Almost like facebook without the extreme amounts of load time ((and drunk photos -Jordan)) So the idea Adam has come up with is to allow users who visit the website to keep small tamagotchi creatures for their profile, these creatures range from characters from our projects to the zodiac star signs. Basically once you have one you can feed it, make it fight, fall in love, etc. Already we’ve started our first bunch of creatures…

The first bunch we thought we should start with are your basic zodiac star signs, something that everyone is familiar with, besides ninjas… they only have one star sign - death One thing to take note of is that these creatures are very small, so as an animator, the animation of these characters won’t have to be as detailed, considering their size there’s really no point in animating things like pupils of eyes because it’d be too small to notice :S

Also all of these animations are limited to a space, meaning we’ve create an outline of a box that the creatures cannot animate past, making it easier for everyone really. I bet you’re curious what star sign I am, if not, I demand respect! Anyway I’m a Sagittarius, so my symbolical symbol is the half horse-half man with the bad ass bow and arrow that could kill anything…type dude. So his standing animation is him wandering around in circles, without the bow and arrow, and at some point takes out the arrow and aims. No he doesn’t shoot the arrow, its more of a gesture saying “stand back, I got a big ass arrow” haha.
