Our cute little Gold Panda

Today the trophy from the Chinese International Gold Panda Animation Awards arrived at the office. “Sam and Piccolo” was awarded the “Special Asian Production Award”, which was a great honour for us. He (? - I assume) is very cute, although he is quite heavy considering how small he is.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the ceremony as I had just got back from other travels and couldn’t afford the time away from the studio. It would have be great fun to enjoy the red carpet excitement.

We keep on meaning to get together a list of the awards and festivals that “Sam and Piccolo” has won/official selection, but we never seem to find the time. Maybe we will get around to that when we get the DVD finished - the problem with that is that we keep on adding stuff to that as well. Little Adam (Adam Reed) assures me that Piccolo’s Adventure is only 4 weeks away - I have heard that before! (But it will be worth it, I assure you ).
